Transport insurance
On rare occasions, products can disappear or suffer damage during transport. The agreed Incoterms determine whether the vendor or the buyer bears the risk during transport.

In the event of damage or loss, NSAB 2000 regulates the liability of the forwarding agent. In road transport the forwarding agent’s liability is limited to SDR 8.33 per kg. (approx. EUR 10 per kg).

The best financial coverage and the simplest administrative procedures are achieved by taking out transport insurance either through your own insurance company or through Dan Cargo. In cooperation with CHUBB Insurance Company, we offer all-risk transport insurance.

Insurance: Third-party logistics
All types of goods stored in Dan Cargo warehouses are insured in accordance with NSAB 2000. According to NSAB 2000, this insurance does not cover water damage, fire or theft. Such insurance must be taken out by the customer. However, in cooperation with CHUBB Insurance Company, Dan Cargo can arrange this insurance for you if needed.
